By omitting the essential ingredient of obedience, we cannot exhibit the confidence,
boldness, and liberty needed to maintain an intimate relationship with God. Our
obedience is vital to the maintenance of daily fellowship with God because He cannot
continue a relationship with anyone who is unwilling to comply with His instructions.
Unfortunately, people continually attempt to have a relationship with God while
they live in sin.
God does not “incline His ear” nor does He open His mouth to any individual who omits obedience to His Word from his daily spiritual faire. Hasn’t God called us to live overcoming and supernatural lives? Indeed. Therefore, He intensely desires to have an intimate relationship with all His children, but only by way of the compelling ingredient of obedience is that made possible. The more we obey
God, the closer we begin to walk with Him.
What a privilege it is to have fellowship with God as we intimately hear, and willingly
carry out, what He instructs. Let us never take for granted the grace that has been
shown to us. Obedience – never fellowship with God without it!
Daily Confession
Father, I thank You that as I obey Your Word, I have the confidence, boldness, and
liberty to maintain an intimate relationship with Jesus. I remain in Your love because
I obey Your Word. 🙏
